This project consists of the renovation of an existing Riverside County facility for new Mental Health Treatment Programs. The existing facility has two buildings- Building A (9,324 SF) and Building B (10,922 SF). The Arlington Recovery Community (ARC) will be located in a 20,246 square foot building formerly known as the Van Horn Regional Treatment Facility The facility sits on approximately 10 acres of a 48-acre county-owned parcel. This project entails the remodeling of an existing facility into a secure treatment center and utilizes one large room for a Sobering Center.
Scope- Ducting and Mechanical Piping
Project Synopsis:
Coordinate access to equipment with work of other trades. Maintain a minimum of 18” distance from the roof for all piping. Install AHU with appropriate manufacturer clearances in front of doors and electrical enclosures. Provide hangers adjacent to elbows to prevent the weight of piping from being placed on the equipment. Provide BIM 3D clash-free model and coordination services for Ducting and Mechanical Piping for both buildings. Produce detailed shop drawings and penetration drawings of both buildings with elevations and dimensions. Attend BIM coordination meetings on client’s behalf. Assign clashes to other trades for clashes with ducting and Mechanical piping via BIM 360.
